Jim grew up in Gwinnett County and graduated from Dacula High School in 1991. He played football at Furman University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jim and Julie married in 1995 and have four children, Carter (Addy), Caleb, Spencer and Kate. He became pastor at Union Grove in August of 2014.
Jackson Van Nus
Jackson grew up in Dacula and graduated from Dacula High School in 2024, where he enjoyed playing both football and lacrosse. He has a heart for seeing students grow in their faith and discover their purpose in Christ, which led him to serve at Church Of Eleven22 from 2024 to 2026. Jackson married his wife, Haylee, in December of 2025, and together they are passionate about investing in the next generation.
Steve Mckee
Steve grew up in Gwinnett county and graduated from Central Gwinnett high school in 1997. He and his wife Erin have 3 children. Cade, Callie and Kyleigh. Steve has been playing and singing all over for 30 plus years. Outside of church he enjoys entertaining and performing in various senior communities in the Athens and metro Atlanta area. He has a love for the old gospel hymns on which he was born and raised and feels blessed to have the opportunity to be the worship leader at Union Grove.
